Enjoyed our stay at The George, Ed and co looked after us very well. Food(pies!) was lovely and much appreciated the pack up for our walk on The Dalesway...expect to be back at some point.

"traditional hospitality in a beautiful setting"

Beautiful little inn in achingly beautiful dales countryside. Food was very good and reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was small but clean and had all the facilities I would expect, including an excellent shower and - most importantly - a kettle. A lovely slice of old world hospitality that feels a million miles away from modern life.

"A true in the Dale's"

The hospitality shown was second to none. The Govenor Edd, his wife Jacqui and Sarah the chef were just perfect. Just how I had imagined an old pub in the Yorkshire Dale's.

There is nothing at all to dislike about The George Inn
