The George Inn

Room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Our host, Ed, was wonderful. Helpful and it was very easy to share banter with him. Food was good value and very tasty and we had a great breakfast. We definitely recommend a stay here

Loved the history of the Inn and it is in the middle of nowhere, just beautiful.

Having to bend down to go to and from bed, otherwise brilliant stay

Great staff - particularly the fantastic cook who made our food and served us breakfast she was incredibly friendly and helpful - and her food was fantastic. All of the staff we met were full of personality and provided warm service. The location is rural and wild and beautiful. The property bursts with character. The atmosphere is convivial and welcoming. The food was delicious - good veggie, vegan and gluten free options too.

There were rumours going around the punters that the staff don't receive tips - if this was true, we wouldn't choose to stay again. But providing everyone gets a fair share, we will happily return soon as it was magical.

Breakfast excellent. Area extremely attractive and quiet.
