Lovely, friendly staff. Fabulous location. Wonderful evening meal and breakfast.

Bed a little uncomfortable, but that's down to mattress preference.

Very comfortable stay. The location was ideal for us as we were attending the Oldfield forge the next day. The locals were very accommodating and we had plenty of fun getting to know them in the pub. The breakfast the following morning was delicious.

Amazing styled room. Breakfast was very good in the morning too.

No access into 5pm. Had to find somewhere to wait through a storm. Downstairs pub is quite loud until late.

Breakfast had many choices that we liked. The room was clean and tidy albeit a bit tired in the decoration but the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Maybe needs a lick of paint and a bit of TLC but not to extent of loosing the character of the property.

Outside and inside could do with a bit of revamp or paint. When we arrived the outside looked a little weather worn. All cosmetic. Same inside. Just needs a little TLC

The room was large and very historical. Food is excellent and the owners are so friendly. Great stay.

Mattress was a bit lumpy and you can hear people talking in the pub but it closes about 11 so not too disturbed.
