BATAD CRISTINA'S Main Village INN & Restaurant

The staff is wonderful. Christina is a wonderful host. She really takes care of her guests. She and her son, John are great cooks. The villagers are friendly and they made me comfortable.

Nothing really except the trip going down to the village and going up. You have to be physically fit to be able to go down to the village and then up to the main road. it was challenging but I made it and I love the place. I woke up to the terraces and the mountains… so majestic!

It is not easy to access but I do enjoy the peacefulness of the environment, owner's plants and the comfort food. Also, I am lucky to meet other guests and listen to their stories.

An adorable family who welcomes you wonderfully, right in the heart of the Main Village! In addition, Cristina cooks wonderfully well! I was very sick there and the family took care of me and helped me get better with great thoughtfulness !

Christina and ger family are simoly amazing. Very nice and kind lady. They cook really nice food. I felt tgere better than in home :)

I loved mam cristina and her family, i felt like the two days i spent were amazing and i could really live like a local, food is amazing and mam cristina is very helpful and kind

i think there should be a diclosure of the place: all places in batad is in the actual rice field, so expect extensives hikings going up and down and for us foreigners who are not used to have good balance in the tiny rice field walls and going up and down many stairs this could be really tricky and unaccesible, especially for elderlies and people with disability, even if u are young but not fit you will find it challenging. she told me to leave my big bags in banaue and it has a reason!!!! the hiking the way up in the rice field is 1h and carrying a heavy baggage will be really tiring. The only thing i did not like its that they should have warned of these details before the people book and go there, i had an amazing time and loved the place, but definitely its not for everyone. Its difficult to reach, but worth it! Leave your big bags in banaue, prepare yourself and sleep in the middle of the rice fields halfway to the tapiya falls! Disclaimer: dont expect good wifi and plug in in the rooms, plug in only in common areas and wifi instable and almost non existent...
