Great view, great people! Unique way to stay in Batad. Would come again.

Some basic things could be improved: Hang a mirror into the bath, no toilet seat (that's a no go), common area looks more like a construction side (why not making it a little nice & comfy) - we stayed in the local hut which is not located at the main location of Christinas

Location is very beautiful and calm. Knowledgeable staff. Wi-Fi is good.

The walk down to the guest house is not easy with a big back pack. Facilities are basic. Staff not always around.

You live on the rice fields, it's beautiful and different from what the facilities you may be used to. A really nice getaway.

Wish they had better wifi and bathroom but it's part of the experience so it's still nice.

Location although it is a difficult walk to get too with very steep and narrow steps. Don’t attempt with a big backpack unless you are v fit and strong.

They said they could provide cheaper guides which is not true.. I recommend you organise a guide through the tourist office if you want one. Booking . com indicates some rooms have a balcony and fridge.. they don’t.. the rooms are very basic but there is a pleasant shared balcony. Owners not very knowledgeable about walking routes or onward travel arrangements. I stayed when there was a wedding party.. it was the noisiest night of my life and impossible to sleep until 5am.. but I imagine that doesn’t happen often.
