BATAD CRISTINA'S Main Village INN & Restaurant

This hotel is almost a scam. I decided to stay here because this hotel was the cheapest. I hitchhiked at night and treked the mountain for 2 hours. I finally arrived in the darkness, and when I tried to check in, I was told that the accommodation fee was 350 pesos, so I had to pay additionally. Wasn't it a scam that is different from the displayed price? After all, I decided to stay outdoors without staying. I've stayed at over 500 hotels so far, but  was the worst.

My stay at Cristina's inn couldn't have been better. It's such a cozy place, and Cristina and her family are incredibly warm and welcoming, so I got a "home away from home" feeling from the first day. The location on the main village is perfect, right on the rice fields of Batad, and the view from there is just spectacular. There are good hiking options in the area, but it's also a great place to just chill and have some peaceful days :) I hope I will come back, salamat!!!

I had 2 nights here. This guesthouse is located in arguably the most beautiful setting in the world. The guesthouse is lovely and u can sit out and relax and see the amazing rice terraces. Cristina and her family, friends and neighbors are wonderful and lovely people. I had chicken curry on both nights and it was the best curry I've ever had!!!. Pancakes and coffee in the morning so so good. I do recommend 2 nights here in this guesthouse as there is lots to do. In my opinion the best view is the climb up to Awa viewpoint, it's a high and tough climb up but the views are absolutely stunning. Batad village is a once in a lifetime experience so make the most of it!!😁

If you want to be a part of the surroundings instead of just seeing a view from the hill, Christina´s place is the best choice. Before we visited Batad, we considered various high hill locations for the accommodations which are provided here, but after we were actually in Batad and were able to see these accommodations live, we were happy that we decided for Christina. It has a feel that you are at someone's home (which is actually a fact). It was a really authentic experience for us. All Cristina's family were very kind. They can also prepare a great meal for you, which you will enjoy with the view of rice fields. Thank you!

Great location with a wonderful view (rice terraces), clean and comfy room, an extra for the food prepared with love by Cristina, the price Be prepared to go down a lot of stairs but that’s what makes it a wonderful place

Noisy room, there is no real windows, Cristina is shy (as the most part of the philippino) so don’t expect a warm welcome (rustic), we didn’t expect the bathroom to be so basic so be prepared

Nay Cristina and her family are very kind and accommodating. The rooms offer “excellent value for money”. Perfect location to stay and relax with the beautiful view of the rice terraces.

The dishes are superb, but not much choice, and I hope they include pricing for single orders.
