BATAD CRISTINA'S Main Village INN & Restaurant

My room had a panoramic view of the terraces plus the place was near the falls and the hanging bridge so it’s perfect. The people were also nice and accommodating to my needs especially as a solo traveller. They made sure my needs were perfectly met and my questions were answered.

None. The place is a bit far and the trail was tough but it’s near every attraction you’ll definitely want to see. The further you are, the nearer you are to the beautiful spots so it’s perfect.

Highly recommended. The view from the property was amazing. Nanay Cristina and tatay was so accommodating. The food was simple but delicious and big servings. Everything was simple, homey and relaxing. They have a lovely dog named Banaue. He even guided us back to jump off. My friend was correct when he say that May was the best month to visit Batad.

The hosts were welcoming, and this includes a pet dog they have. I decided to take a walk to the waterfall early in the morning and the dog started accompanying me patiently and loyally all the way there and back. I was told later that that adorable dog was a guide to the waterfall and some other locations. This property is not in the easiest location to get to, but the views are spectacular. The WiFi was very strong. Overall, it's hard to beat this property for its value for money.

This being a rural area, there are plenty of insects which will fly into your room if you leave the windows open, and there was no fan in the room, so it got a bit stuffy at times. It's only possible to charge your phone outside the room, and there's also no water dispenser for drinking water.

Excellent scratch made food, Very friendly staff, It's in the center of the rice terraces with a beautiful view and hiking.

The owners were awsome hosts. Cooking was unique and soe of the best I've tasted.

Keep the common bathroom cleaner, Nothing can be done about the noisy dogs and roosters but that's just part of the experience no matter where you stay in Batad.

The best place to stay in Batad and our favourite place during our hike in the rice terraces. Cristina’s inn is a little piece of heaven on earth. The inn is very small, only a few people can stay. The rooms are simple and the facilities very basic. But it is all you need. Wifi and warm water are an extra fee but it is not necessary when you are in this beautiful place. And the price for one night is an extra point. The views over the terraces are amazing, from our room, from the dining place and from the common space on the first floor. It is very quiet and relaxing. Cristina’s food was amazing too ! Best shakshuka EVER ! The staff was very nice and helpful. We prepared some rice with our hiking guide and they even cooked it for us for dinner. I will definitely come back to stay there for a few days, look at the view and relax. 100% recommend it !
