We loved our stay at Wayside and the friendliness of the host and hostess Pierre and Sally made the whole experience unique and special. Pierre prepared a homemade dinner and breakfast for us and it was delicious. It was wonderful to see what care and energy they have put into making this not only a wayside stop but a home from home on the road. The rooms have been spruced up and the beds were excellent. We will stay there again when we are next in the area . It is wonderful to see Ye Old Wayside Inn back on the map under a new name but retaining the history and ethos of its past. It is a great stop for Kruger or a place from which to explore the lovely Elands Valley.

There was some traffic noise but it was not stop start and it did not worry us. The beauty of the gardens and ambience overrode this .
