Great pub food & breakfast

Tired rooms but clean

Everything was working as it should be the bed was comfortable

Mushrooms with the breakfast tasted a bit to oily but other than that sausages, egg & bacon where perfect staff where absolutely brilliant Dinner was absolutely amazing had the 6oz burger and the chip where done to perfection I shall be staying again the next time I'm in Birmingham

The breakfast was 'ok'. My colleagues asked for the vegetarian option and were offered hash browns. I had ordered the cooked breakfast but didn't get any hash browns which is odd. If they are served with the vege option then why not serve them with the standard cooked breakfast? To be fair, I asked for and was provided with one hash brown without any drama.

My room (room 2), is to be avoided as it's small, cramped, old and tired. The toilet also smells bad as it has a macerator and the fumes leak out into the bathroom. The bacon was cooked to a crisp at breakfast. The pub advertises 'a selection of real ales' However, there was only one active pump, and that was out of ale.

Clean rooms with basics

Couldn't sit up in bed to watch telly as we were in the attic a z the roof slopes over the bed

Good location

A little run down, beds and bathroom clean though.
