Location great for airport and nec

Carpet in bedroom could be better .

The bed was reasonably comfortable. It was fairly convenient to get to the NEC where I was working.

The front and back doors remained locked deep into the morning, well past the checkout time of 10:30, which made it difficult to leave, and is a fire hazard. I had to flag down the chef in the kitchen to get the keys to let me out. For my dinner, I had the Tandoori Chicken and Rump Steak combo, where my rump steak was overcooked (Well Done, when I ordered Medium Rare) and the tandoori chicken was cooked strangely - crisp/burnt on one side, wet on the other, as well as the onion rings and chips (which both reeked of fried fish, which is evidence of their frying oil not being cleaned often enough) being cold upon arrival - most likely because of the steak cooking for so long. From time of ordering to the food getting to my table, it took approximately 40 minutes when I was one of 4 customers in the bar/seating area. Additionally, I was mischarged for my meal and drinks. As for the room, there were clear signs of mould/black mould in the bathroom, which can likely be attributed to the lack of proper ventilation. A full English breakfast was included in the price of the room, though it wasn't the best in size/quality.

The carpet in the lounge bar was filthy. The place needs refurbishing and redecorating. My bedroom was clean, the bed was comfy. It’s a lovely building but it needs a cash injection. I hope it can be bettered

Quaint building. Triple room, 3 single beds was a good size.

Lots of stairs! Long wait for food.
