"Nice location"

Lovely location

The room had a strange smell (unsure if it was recently painted but just strange smell) and sadly on a hot night with no fan or aircon i sadly slept a max of 2 hours on top of bed

"A lovely stay , with really friendly and obliging staff. Would certainly stay again."

I loved the location and parking facilities. Perfect for my Trip. The room was spacious with a lovely view. Breakfast was very good.

I Think the shower room was too small. (But I suppose one would try not to spend too much altering the shape of the room)

Staff were friendly. Good location provided a great view from the room. Breakfast was good quality and great choices.

Bedroom a bit noisy due to road close by. Although breakfast was good, it was a bit too large - the option for a smaller cooked breakfast would be welcome.

"Lovely staff, beer and food"

Really friendly staff who went the extra mile, Thank you. Steak and ale pie and vegan curry were excellent. And it was so nice to get a pack lunch. Armathwaite is a beautiful setting.

Noise from the road in the morning.

Im großen und Ganzen ist es für eine Nacht in Ordnung, allerdings nicht als Deutscher.

Die Dorfbewohner die ständig das F Wort gegen und Deutsche verwendeten.

"Lovely place for a retreat from the world"

Great location and a lovely pub to stay and a nice romantic break

WiFi wasn’t great but it’s the sort of place you to o switch off anyway !
