"Nice stay in nice setting"

I asked if kipper were reall whole kippers or just fillets and they were said to be proper kippers but actually they were processed fillets and cooked very dryly .. however I asked to change to smoked salmon and that wasn’t a problem

"Perectly placed to break a motorway journey, Exellent food, friendle staff. Used by locals."

Breakfast was excellent. Fresh local produce cooked to perfection. Ample coffee. The pub is well used by locals, which is a good sign and adds loads of ambience as far as ai'm concerned.

Absence of heating. It is May, to be fair, but weather was cold.

Fantastic location. Good pub food for meals during the day.

Breakfast, kippers were dry and disappointing. Sausages were not of high quality. The TV in the room was not user friendly and switched off after 10 minutes, this was reported. No hot water for a shower, so had to endure a cold one!
