"Great pub with good food beer and rooms."

Lovely rural pub based stopover in great location, all recently renovated. Such great staff, lovely atmosphere with plenty of locals. Well kept ales, and very decent pub food and fabulous breakfast.

Breakfast was good and hearty but we had to be at a destination by 09:15 on Saturday morning. It would have helped to start breakfast a little earlier on a Saturday morning as we were late.

Room was cold when we arrived. But when the heating had been turned on it was cozy 30 minutes later. No kettle for making a cup of tea. Coffee machine is ok for espresso but hopeless for a regular sized cup.

This is a lovely pub in a very pleasant village which does good food and drink like a good pub should

we had a sub-quality breakfast on one of our 2 mornings but everything else was fine

We made a random booking to break a long journey and were delighted by our rooms, an excellent dinner, full breakfast, cheerful service and beautiful location. It was excellent value for money and we'd live to gobackand stay longer. Found a gem!
