Excellent facilties. Comfy beds and lovely bathroom. Lovely little Communal area to make breakfast, and they provided tea, coffee, milk cereal, bread, jams and fresh fruit, all this was free of charge. Great Bar Lounge, Big Restaurant and lovely sunny Court Yard (all sold very tasty food) with glass sliding roof.

Comfortable room. Superb shower. Communal kitchen for 4 rooms giving flexible breakfast and snack times.

Close to the main road. Won’t suit those who like a long lie in.

The location suited our itinerary. Room 1 was clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The menu was very ordinary ... except for the inclusion of Mussels in Cream & White Wine! Very good.

Although we were warned in advance, the only place for our bicycles was up a flight of stairs; heavy work! Breakfast was a very basic diy affair (supplemented from Lidl across the road).

We received a warm welcome from the staff. The room was very spacious, with very comfortable beds and a good size bathroom, with a good shower and nice towels. We didnt use the restaurant, but the bar was also friendly. The location was good for us, being quite near to QMU. We arrived quite late and managed to park ok on the street. Other reviewers have mentioned problems with traffic noise, but we were right on the main road and had our window slightly open and didn't get disturbed by it.

A real shame not having a proper breakfast - especially for the price. It was hotel prices for a semi-self catering accommodation. I appreciate this is made clear when booking, but it really lets it down - I was at least expecting a decent coffee maker but only instant coffee was on offer and there was no fresh fruit. We were woken quite early by other guests using the communal area, so we cut our losses and headed off. I can recommend Miros Cafe on the main High Street for an excellent Scottish breakfast and great coffee!
