the location is nice and the view is stunning.

we had to skip the breakfast as it was extremely poor. adding the cheapest beans, onions, greens, fruits etc. to the menu would not harm the cost much but will substantially change the impression. ☺️

Very comfortable rooms and helpful staff. Amazing view of Mt Agung and lovely gardens around the cottages. 15 min walk down the hill to assortment of restaurants and beach.

Linen needs to be updated.

Very pretty view and large room

The breakfast is just the same 2 options every day. The access to the hotel is hell, we rented motorbikes and are experienced drivers but still found it very tricky especially when it rains

The property was very scenic. Rooms were large and comfortable

The location was bit let down. To commute anywhere there was dependency on the property staff and had to ask them to arrange for vehicle.

The cottages were apt for the price they were listed at. We had originally booked for 3 nights but decided to check out after 1 night because of multiple reasons. 1. It is very far from all eating joints, and there is no food available at the property. 2. The approach road is HORRIBLE to say the least, so even commuting to eat, especially at night was dangerous. My partner is a rider and has completed a north to south India tour on a bike, twice. Even he was not too impressed with the conditions. (This was to show that skill was not an issue, the condition was) 3. The check-in process was strange and one part of the property was in shambles but the cottages shown in the picture were alright with minimal amenities. PRO’s: 1. The staff was super sweet and helpful. They went beyond their way to help us with renting a bike and also helped us with the taxi and fast boat bookings. Generally as well, the people of this island were extremely nice and warm. 2. The view was nice but it was not what we were looking for so we instead made a booking at another cottage which was overlooking the sea and Mount Agung.

The bed was comfy and the pool was great! Amazing view from our room.

I am aware that it cost more to clean more. However it’s the small things that matter. Tiny specs of mold on the walls could be wiped off. If I don’t see it it’s not there :) Perhaps check the Air Conditioning units, my partner and I woke up sick every morning and I noticed others in the rooms next to ours we’re coughing to.
