Restaurant was located right next to the Mekong and was a great place to relax with a beer and they had an extensive menu that included Thai,Laos,Mexican,Indian and Western choices. The rooms were cleaned regularly and were reasonably comfortable.

Bathrooms needed some TLC. Karaoke next door was mildly annoying.

Friendly staff, food in restaurant reasonably priced and good. Room was spacious and clean

The only negative would be the street karaoke that went on until 23.00. The outside area overlooking the Mekong river was neglected and could have been so much more inviting if cleaned up.

We loved everything about this place! Location right at the Mekong river, great terrace to gaze over the water with a Beer Lao, clean room, good mattress (not the usual hard bed), super friendly and very helpful staff.

We had to catch a few mosquitoes. And the cover band at the night market next door played until midnight, but they were pretty good (and it was Saturday night), so no complaints about that.

Everything was excellent from initial booking in, the room was very comfortable,the food was beautiful with a excellent atmosphere and view from the terrace across to Mukdahan "the locals can't be wrong", unfortunately my wife was taken ill during the night and she was allowed to stay in the room 3hrs after official booking out time until our taxi arrived (no charge) I would highly recommend this family run hotel 100%
