Good-sized room and ensuite.

The very soft single bed mattress and the miserably thin duvet meant I didn't get a good night's sleep the entire week. Breakfast was unavailable until 8 a.m. Fortunately, there was a Morrisons nearby where I could buy porridge pots.

Clean and cosy room. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Good breakfast in the morning. Plenty of tea and coffee on offer in the room. The room was cheap, but it exceeded what I was expecting.

The blinds were too thin. The club opposite made a bit of a racket, which might disturb some people. Not me though!

Excellent full English breakfast at a very good price.

The room seemed to have been recently refurbished.

The room was freezing when we arrived and even though we had the radiator on 27 degrees as soon as we got into the room, it didn't warm up enough. We had to put our coats over us at night, and we wore three layers in bed! We were told to order breakfast that evening, and were also told that if the venue wasn't busy they would lock up early and showed us where the external door was for us to use if we went out. We went out at 7.30pm to find downstairs in the dark and the staff had already left! There was no option for one of our party to order breakfast, or for us to ask for extra blankets. We weren't told the staff would leave SO early, and no one asked us if we wanted to order breakfast as they were going. My friend had ordered hers at 6pm when she went down for a drink of water, but on-one said anything about the staff leaving SO early. When my friend went down for breakfast she said it wasn't the best she had ever had. When we checked out I mentioned all the above and then the staff said I could have ordered my breakfast that morning! OVERALL, NOT IMPRESSED!
