I absolutely loved the ambience, the restaurant and garden, and the beautiful finishing in the room. Top-notch!

Literally, the only thing I didn't like was that you had to weirdly hold the showerhead above you to have a shower, but maybe that is common in the UK, I'm not sure.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The ambience in the pub was great.

The only minor challenge was that the room was a bit tight for space once we’d also got our Labrador & his bed in!

A beautiful old property dating from 1748, but fully fitted out to high modern standards. Plenty of hot water. Plenty of electrical sockets. Spotlessly clean. Comfy bed. Keys to come and go. Staff kind and friendly - very helpful. The food in the restaurant is really excellent - try the steak and ale pie. Breakfast (table service) is of equally high standard with lots of choice. Highly recommended, and thank you.

Breakfast is from 8.30 - 9.30 only, which may be late for some. Personally I don't like dogs in a dining area, but others may disagree.

Welcome superb, room clean & comfortable, food excellent, menu superb, breakfast best we have had. Cannot recommend this highly enough- it’s a little gem and a real find. Wood burners, excellent car parking, not forgetting the home made marmalade which should be available nationwide. Every single member of staff played their part and all excellent … how do they do it? Doesn’t matter.. we will be back.
