The Red Lion Inn

Lovely old pub in a tiny village. Staff were very friendly and food was gorgeous. Room was a bit small but the bed was very comfortable.

Beautiful old pub that was once a coaching inn. Quaint little bedroom that had everything you needed and more, lots of cahracter and very comfortable. Having a nespresso machine was a lovely touch. The evening meal in the restaurant was superb, as was the beer. Similarly the breakfast in the morning. All the staff were delightfully friendly and my whole stay, although short, was most enjoyable.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike.

Perfect from start to finish, greeted by the lovely carl & taken to a beautiful room absolutely spotless! The grounds are stunning, the food to die for & exceptional service from all the staff, the Perfect retreat

Sehr gutes Frühstück und Essen im Restaurant. Extrem freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr schöner Gartenbereich. Zimmer klein, aber sauber und sehr gemütlich. Das Restaurant sehr authentisch und zum Wohlfühlen.

Brausekopf bei erster Verwendung kaputt gegangen. Wurde auch nach Meldung beim Personal nicht ersetzt. Leider war unser Zimmer straßenseitig und deshalb dem Lärm ausgesetzt. Auch der Lärm aus dem Restaurant war im Zimmer eher unangenehm.
