National Park Alpine Lodge

- Staff were friendly enough, seemed to be a mother-son team. They let me stay in the common area after my check out time, as I had a later bus, which was kind of them. - Location is good for doing the Tongariro crossing. 6 minute walk to bus stop, 15 minute walk to supermarket. - FANTASTIC kitchen. Clean, big and very well equipped. - WiFi worked well enough as far as I can remember. - They have a little onsite shop for buying essentials. - For a small fee you can wash and dry clothes onsite. - Bathrooms were clean with working hot showers.

- Room/bed was pretty small and basic considering the price (twin room). - No socket near bed (not essential, but useful). - No towel included, which I was surprised at.

Die Lodge hat einfache Unterkünfte. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und kürzlich frisch gemalert. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt. Joy, die Vermieterin und ihr Sohn sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Lodge liegt nicht am Highway und es ist daher sehr ruhig. Ich konnte prima im weichen Bett schlafen. Die Gemeinschaftsküche hat alles. Es ist alles sehr sauber. Ich war 3 Tage dort und würde wieder buchen.
