Do not miss this place if you would like to experience the real Marocan countyside spirit. Amazing sceanery, hidden in between the mountains. Delicios dinner. We took the ride with the donkey with our children around the village wich was great.

The owner and staff were super helpful and provided us with excellent options for activities in the area. These included a day hike through gorgeous farmland to a mountain cave where there was a spring inside. At the end of the hike we visited the old kasbah in the village which was a big highlight. The dining area was cozy and had great character. (oh, and Unless you are bringing your own food, you must pay for dinner since there are no restaurants in this village.) Our rooms were basic but had hot water and plenty of heavy blankets to keep us warm at night. The views from this hotel are excellent, as it sits on a hill above the village.

The rooms were a bit dusty and the fireplace in the dining area pushed back smoke into the room, which made it quite uncomfortable.

We stopped here from Fez to Merzouga and was the best experience of the travel. Larbi (the owner) is very kind and friendly and showed us the nice areas of the sorroundings. We stayed here 2 nights and it was worth. First we saw some nice gorges close to the village. The day after we went, together with a guide, to the caves of Tatiouine and for a long walk at the source of river Ziz and the old Kasbah. The valley is a magical place and I will recommend everyone to stay here a bit for some local culture and some calm. The hotel is cozy and has the basic comforts you need.

This is truly one of the most memorable and special experience we had in marocco. The team at Sidi Hamza were so hospitable, diner and breakfest were delicious. Above all the opprtunity to go on a morning trek in and around the vilage with Hasan was exptional, fun and super uniqe.

A hidden gem in the middle of nothing. It's a perfect night stop on the road Fes - Merzouga. Pictures cannot describe the beauty of this place. The host was very welcoming and was great to spend the dinner with him and the rest of the guests. If you are looking for a luxury, look somewhere else. But if you are looking for an authentic experience that's your place! Highly recommend!
