"Friendly Berber village"

Great stay in a small Berber village. Our host took us on an enjoyable tour of the town. This place is off the tourist trail and good mid point between Fez and the desert.

A little hard to find on small winding streets. Needs a few more signs.

"Great stay!"

What a excellent place to spend the night. Very peaceful and beautiful landscape. The owner took us to the old kasbah and for a beautiful walk around the village. The breakfast was good and we had a very good dinner as well. Very recommendable!

"The only good thing about the stay was the surroundings"

The location of the hostel is a great place, very authentic. A traditional Amazigh village, very close to a casba, still habitated and absolutely zero touristic.

Very expensive for the quality and the commodities. The room wasn't clean: Lipstick and hair in the pillow, and some s*it rests in the toilet…

Well equipped kashbar in a small village in the mountains. Very quiet surroundings. Friendly and helpful owner.

WiFi was lacking, although not sure how much I should expect.

"Amazing food with the real authentic Moroccan experience"

The food and hospitality was the best we had in our two week trip around Morocco. Probably the most authentic experience we had and can’t recommend it highly enough if you want to get off the tourist route and experience the real side of Morocco.

"an unforgettable experience."

The auberge and the surrounding village have been an outstanding experience. I felt privileged to experience a place where life seems still primarily self-sustaining, a closed-loop system, relatively untainted by consumerism and mass tourism. At the auberge, we have received a warm welcome from Mustafa, the owner's son. It was a pleasure meeting him and we are very grateful for leading us on a memorable and educational walk through this Berber village and its adjacent fields.

"Authentic"

Host is very friendly, dinner is good. Location is very authentic. Had a nice trip to the caves with the guide. Will really recommend this place as a stop between Fez and Merzouga!

Beds are a little bit too hard
