The Green Iguana Hotel

Away from the crazy of downtown, at the top of the Ninety Nine Steps. Lovely little garden, hummingbirds, iguana. Nice pool. Rooms had decent size fridge, microwave, dishes etc.

Advertised as no restaurant so didn’t expect anything, however a water dispenser would be nice to fill a bottle, as it’s far from the nearest store.

Didnt realize how high up on the hill it was, so it was a serious hike to get to and from town. Recommended taxi service showed up late and charged $18 per person to go less than 1 mile.

Location was up a pretty steep hillside without any instructions we could find on calling a taxi, not much within a 10-15 minute hike of the property.

The hotel is set atop of the hill overlooking St. Thomas waterfront. A very pleasant welcome by both Carol and Kevin making us feel very at home. The room was lovely, very nicely decorated in clean tropical colours. The view of Saint Thomas was amazing. Quiet location. Not far from Sugar Cane Grill Restaurant.

It was quite the walk up a very steep hill to walk in and from St. Thomas. I wish we were here longer!

The steep walk to get to town and harder for older people

The location was great. Yes, it is up many stairs, but that is what gives it the view.

There is construction going on next door, but it was only durning the day. It did not affect our sleep at all.
