We travel a lot -- both for pleasure and business -- and Lindsey and Chase (hosts) stand out for their spectacular service to guests. I honestly felt as though I was the only guest in the entire hotel, but Lindsey told me that they were fully booked! It felt as though she was just waiting by her phone (early, late, and in between) to respond to our questions, needs, requests for guidance, asking for advice, etc. The views are spectacular, and we loved to sit on the balcony in our room and watch the sunset and look at the incoming / outgoing boats, etc. That same view is available from the outdoor pool. And (although the hotel was full) we never saw any other guests at the pool, which was fine by us! Lindsey showed us how to put our loungers into the shallow end and fully recline. Speaking of chairs, very nice of the hotel to provide beach chairs that we could borrow and use.

While I'll admit that the property / rooms are a little bit dated, we received great value for what we paid. And the hosts are working diligently to update everything. I have seen some complaints about climbing the stairs to get back to the hotel from town. But a cab would be just $6 / person! Climbing all those stairs is why the location is quiet and removed from downtown. So this is really not a complaint, at all.

A car is needed to get around.

The location of the Green Iguana is on a steep hill. We walked sometimes and took a cab other times. A good addition to the area is Blackbeards restaurant, bar and pool. A 1 minute walk from hotel.

It would be nice to have a little snack in the morning with coffee. Otherwise it is necessary to head down into town for some food. There is a fridge and microwave so if you like dining on your deck in the am they provide coffee you bring the snack!

The owner was wonderful and very attentive to all our inquiries. Great view. Clean friendly and updated.

Nothing really. It is a hot hike to get up to the hotel from town but there are typically plenty of taxis!

Exactly where we needed to be to take ferry to St John the next day

This is a small, boutique, family owned hotel. The owners, Chase and Lyndsey communicated well prior to our arrival and were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful with wonderful recommendations. The room was extremely clean, had a small kitchen and also had an incredible view. The outside garden and pool were also beautiful and had an exceptional view as well. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning next year. Thank you Chase and Lyndsey!😀
