Anchor Inn

The room was very clean, comfortable and warm.

Very loud music from the bar but it was Easter Saturday night.

The room was clean and adequate for a 1 night stay on business

Unfortunately there was no restaurant available on site for meals or breakfast but that didn't cause an issue.

The only think was it was in the right location

There was no heating even though requested several times. The bed was two single sprung mattresses pushed together- very uncomfortable. No hot cooked breakfast available.

Couldn’t get through main door to my room as lock needed to be fiddled with. No fun in the pouring rain

Lovely room! Great location!

Access to the room was up a fire escape staircase behind the pub. It wouldn't put me off staying again however.

Everything was fine. Reasonable town to pitch up in Good welcome. Easy parking.

The shower was a bit insonsistent.

Good value for money. Fine for overnight stay. Clean. Friendly staff. Quiet room

Hairdryer in room would have been nice

I’ve stayed here a number of times through different owners , the best room to stay in is room 1 as it’s at the back so no road noise . Rooms are comfortable and it’s easy to get to

I wish they would do a food offering as I feel they miss out on that extra income , after all if you have to go elsewhere to get fed you won’t use the bar either

Would have preferred cooked breakfast for price paid at that time of year
