Anchor Inn

The location was convenient and parking was plentiful and easy. The en-suite was cozy, clean and good, The bar was excellent. The staff were superb. The food was very good.

The bedroom windows were filthy. The toilet roll holder was dodgy. The metal staircase was external, uncovered.

The convenience to an event I was attending

Lack of cooked food despite the advertising. No housekeeping eg used tea/coffee cups not replaced; beds not remade etc.

At around 2am the alarm went off and proceeded for the next hour we all left our rooms and ended up travelling all the way back home, they are not responding to any messages about your refund request. Avoid at all costs

It was situated in a lovely village.

The room was hot and very small. Could not get any food after 6pm even though it stated outside it served home made food. No breakfast was available. Other guests doors were very noisy. (Could do with soft closures).

The room was pleasant and comfortable but much smaller than the pictures portray.

There isn't a piece of paper or information sheet in the room with the wifi details on and we weren't told them when we arrived. Also we weren't given any information regarding where to put the key when we left the next morning, the main building was closed and locked up when we left at 9am, so I spent quite a bit of time looking for someone or looking for somewhere to leave the key safely.
