The rooms felt freshly decorated, sheets and towels were really clean, free shampoo conditioner, shower gel and soap. Biscuits and tea/coffee tray.

Access was external metal staircase - not easy/safe for my elderly father. There was no food available on site due to some change over but we were not told that before arriving. My old sash window was filthy and being at the front by a main road it was very noisy. Also room is above the bar and the music and the noise went on very late. Mum and dad had no hot water in their room. I had someone else’s hair in my shower.

Room smells damp, no hot water in bathroom and electric shower did not work so I advice checking this on arrival rather than finding out early morning when you want a shower.

Room was clean. Bathroom was sizeable and clean. Bed was reasonably comfortable. For the money it is a good room.

They were not providing breakfast, was not a problem for us as we were helping our daughter move in to a local house so we could eat there. But would be a problem otherwise. No hot water in bathroom sink. Shower was electric so that did have hot water.
