We have stayed here on several occasions and find the location ideal for a night before the Malvern Show. Staff, new to us, were friendly and helpful. Appreciated the concern for my wife when she had a coughing fit. Food excellent, so good we called in on he way back from the Show on our way home to Staffordshire.

The tap in the handbasin didn't provide any hot water but as the shower worked well it was not a problem on a one night stay. Reported the issue when we came back to eat.

Breakfast and evening meal were excellent. Staff were friendly. Room was clean.

Limited vegetarian options at breakfast Rooms are quite small with en-suite built in, but for the price, reasonable.

We were visiting family in the area and had no car so this was the most convenient place. Room was dire. Small single beds with very poor mattresses. Accessed by fire escape type staircase. Didn't stay to try the beds. Lady told us it was their best room but would hate to see the others if that was the case. We decided not to stay and I told the lady who had given us the key the reasons why. She said they had not had anyone complain before which I find hard to believe I also find it hard to believe some of the good reviews. Maybe they're about different Anchor Inns.

Despite the room looking over the beer garden, the pub was quiet so no late loud noises. The staff were lovely. Lovely village location

The room had a huge window that looked over the beer garden so we had to close the blind for privacy. The room was quite small but clean and tidy. The bed wasn't very comfortable. I believe it was 2 small beds put together to make a double. The water pressure wasn't very strong so the shower wasn't a pleasant experience and no hairdryer available.

The check in the welcome and the room and the boiler was not working at the time of my stay

Unfortunately The owner had only just taken on the premises and the pub has jut had a- fit and unfortunately the kitchen was not working so no hot evening food or breakfast was a valuable at the time my stay , but Booking .com still advertised rooms with breakfast which was a shame

Location is good, and plenty of parking.

Lumpy, uncomfortable bed, which was two singles put together. Pub is a bit rough.
