The hostel looks amazing, the location is great and it has a pool and kitchen in which you can prepare your own food. There are many other backpackers and a big common area to socialize.

First of all, it seems like general maintenance of the hostel could be better. For instance, one of the toilets’ doors cannot be locked, another one cannot be flushed. Some trash bags are collected outside in the middle of the yard and there are giant palm leaves that have broken off on the ground. In addition, it seems like the water pressure in the showers is minimal. We often ran out of soap and toilet paper. Second of all, I believe the organization of the hostel could be more customer-centric. For example, no drinkable water can be obtained inside the hostel. If you want to enter the hostel, the receptionist has to unlock the gate for you nearly every time and they are not always directly present. Some people had to move beds because it was overbooked multiple times. Finally, the breakfast is the same everyday and was not enough for me personally.

Nice atmosphere, only two group rooms but the space is very openly designed so everyone sits down to eat together automatically. Very chill vibe and good area.

Wifi didn't work all the time and showers/toilets didn't all work

The hostel itself is very big and looks nice. The pool and all the plants inside make it look cool. Also the staff was very friendly.

To enter the hostel (and sometimes to leave it) you need someone from the staff to unlock the front door. Sometimes there was no one right behind the door so you had to shout inside hoping someone would hear you to open the door for you. Another bad thing was that there must have been mice inside my room. I had a shopping bag with a sealed bag of chips and some sealed cookies inside. After the night in both was a little hole, which was absolutely from a mouse which was biting into the things trying to reach the food. So I had to throw away the food.

This is a colonial building with two patios and tons of common areas. You’ll always have where to sit and relax. Free breakfast. Quiet, comfortable, esthetic and welcoming.

Even though the building is so nice and staff are kind.. I think they don’t really know how with few small improvements it could easily be a 10: * Wifi works only in one of the patios and doesn’t in the other and the rooms. * Bathrooms are not being cleaned frequently enough! * Fans work only in one of the patios. The ones in the room are good only for the bed on the top (as ceilings fans) and some more vertical fans are required. * The person who’s in charge at night isn’t qualified (couldn’t even tell the other room to be quiet) and his family and baby make too much noise. * This issue with the door (that you have to wait for the person to let you in/out) should be easily solved.

There is an amazing garden and space.

There was a problem with the shower.

Magnificent property, nice pool and the staff were very friendly. A decent breakfast was served in the morning and there are kitchen facilities available. We really enjoyed our stay here

Absolutely beautiful place with a lot of space and a wonderful location. I got sick from bad ice and the people working there not only made sure I was ok, they made me soup!

There was a padlock to enter and exit all day and night. Must be let in and out.
