Hotel Colonial Victonella

Very quiet. Lots of chairs and space to relax. Beautifully decorated with lovely art and furnature. Had a pool and a pool table. Comfortable beds and Aircon. A light local breakfast included. Booking was not transparent in regards to additional taxes and charges.

The kitchen wasn't well equipped or clean. The pool wasn't cleaned in the morning, lots of flys

The hosts were quite nice and I loved that it’s not a party hostel like almost all the others around, so it’s quiet and calm days and nights.

- bathrooms were totally unclean - Wi-Fi didn’t worked in the rooms, just in the lobby - no lockers - pool was completely dirty, so not really useable - the hole hostel was locked up, so you always had to wait for a host to get in and out. Nice for the safety, but quite uncomfortable in a way - hosts didn’t speak a word english, so you better know some spanish basics - kitchen was free for use, but not clean at all - no breakfast, also not as an extra thing to book

The room was huge, great location. Very quiet, could not hear any other guests. Hot water in shower. Kitchen was well equipped although didn't use it.

This hostel has so much potential, the building is very nice but i think they don't use the potential it has. It's spacious, nice furniture. Room had AC. There's a small pool and a nice indoor garden area. Room was clean, beds are good. Location is good as well.

The atmosphere could have been better. You need someone of the staff if you want to leave the building (and to enter). There isn't always someone near the entrance to let you in or out. It would be better if you can leave by yourself and that the door has a button they can press to let you in. The common area's could use a little music , and if they have a staff member to occupy the cafe area, it would be a great place to sit, relax, have a drink and meet other travellers. I was in one of the private rooms, which have good value but are in need of some light. There is a fan on the ceiling that doesn't work, and it has a light that is not bright enough to read. Wifi wasn't working great.

It is a beautiful building with two nice yards with plants and a swimming pool. It is generally clean and quiet.

The pool water looked very dirty, I didn't dare to swim. The wifi was not working and the staff didn't make any effort in fixing it, apologizing or offering a discount.

The location was great, 2 minute walk to the main square. The staff were lovely and made a great breakfast.
