It's a very nice cabin in the forest. There is plenty of space, good beds. Place to eat is Potato, highly recommended.

Note the toilet is an outhouse. Shower close to cabin, it was very ok with hot water etc. Wifi is only at reception. Walk to village is 15-20 minutes. There is a bus stop close. No fridge, power outlet is only USB. It was all good as the cabin itself is high standard.

We had all of are meals at the Potato head restaurant it was very affordable and great food and service

Cozy, quaint and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. McCarthy has a special, frontier charm. The locals all seem inspired and happy. The Wrangell mountains are absolutely epic. Highly recommend

Shuttle service was excellent, as was communication. The cabin was well appointed with necessary items. I would recommend hooks and/or bats on the walls for towels, jackets etc. also chairs to sit outside the cabin. Perhaps mosquito head nets?

"Cute cabin on perfect location!"

Perfect location for those visiting Kennecott (short shuttle ride away!) and cabins sit in a beautiful set up. Very hospitable owners - great communication from planning the trip to arrival and during our stay. Cabin is very cute and owners have thought of every detail - beds linens are of good quality and very clean. Mattress is very comfortable. Potable water, sink, stove and coffee pot inside cabin. Outhouse and hot showers a few feet away!

Everything was great - thank you for allowing our family to make great memories

"Relaxing rustic stay"

Love the cute rustic cabins. The outhouses and shower house was perfect!
