Blackburn Cabins - McCarthy, Alaska

Everything was as described. They did a great job on the Cabins set up. We used everything (showers, loo, heat, bikes, etc) and everything worked. Was lovely to stay in the town of Blackburn! Only difficult thing is getting in touch if you don't have Verizon.

The cabin was clean, and very nostalgic! Great customer service!

Rustic but clean and comfortable log cabins. My wife and I and our two kids had a wonderful time. We stayed two nights but wish we could have stayed longer. We loved having the bicycles available to ride into town. Also had fun hiking to the toe of the glacier to see ice bergs into the lake. So cool! Staff were friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next trip to Mccarthy.

Amazing place. Would return again, bring rain gear just in case it can be muddy in the area.

The cabin interior looks good but it's kind of small for 4 people. No microwave but they provide a stove and kitchenware that you can use. Shared shower and open air toilet. Staff are nice snd friendly. It's a good place if you like quite and cabin lifestyle. They also provide the bicycles to bike into Mccarthy town or hike on the trail to see glacier from a distance view.
