Clean room, very small bathroom. shower was dingy. The pillows were not usuable they were so hard. THe mirror in the bathroom above the vanity was very high (need to be on tip toes at 5'3").

Within walking distance of the beach, Stone Pony and various places to eat.

The room was incredibly small with a full bed. The “private” bath was across the hall. No staff in sight.

Clean and quiet.

Excellent location (3 min walk to the boardwalk/beach/town), hassle-free check-in/out. Balcony access with lake views.

No reserved parking. There was no door separating the bedroom & living room area. My daughters were very upset about the sleeping arrangements (mattress on the floor & couch). Extra bed sheets/blankets/pillows were not provided either.

Close to the beach. The price is ok.

The place wasn’t very clean—I even found someone’s socks under the TV and noticed a lot of dust. Overall, it was just okay. Despite the great price and location, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Good morning, I am filing a complaint regarding the following accommodation: The Melrose, Bed & Bath 2B - Private Bed & Bath 34 Seaview Avenue Ocean Grove, NJ 07756. Booking number: 6300401212. Reservation valid for: August 11, 2025 to August 12, 2025 The room I found did not match the offer presented online in any way. The room I purchased online through Booking.com, and its photos, looked neat and tidy. In reality, the room we found, number 2B, turned out to be a small, substandard room. The room was dirty. The floor was creaky. The air conditioning was dirty and dusty. The trash can was not completely clean. The fan in the room was full of dust. The refrigerator was dirty, as were all the so-called cabinets in the room. There was no way to eliminate the "odor" that filled the room and the entire hallway. The standard of the room I received was below any standards. I consider the condition and quality of the room to be outrageous. We had to find alternative accommodations, and we have proof of this. Therefore, I demand a full refund of the accommodation costs. I am deeply disappointed! I took photos of the room's condition. This gives me proof of what it looked like when we were there only briefly. Of course, I hope I won't have to report this unpleasant situation to the Customer Service Department and publish these photos and my description above online. Perfect location for all our activities.

I loved the location of the property! Two blocks from the beach is so convenient, plus the 5 minute walk into town was nice!

I didn’t like how the room wasn’t fully cleaned like the windowsills were very dirty and could’ve easily been cleaned with a good wipe down. And the bathroom fan was extremely loud we had to shower in the dark to avoid the bathroom fan noise. There was paint all over the tv remote which made it harder to use !
