What breakfast? I didn’t know there was one or where it was! Had a cup of coffee. As a first timer I would have liked more info. I spent two hours looking for a place to park and landed up a mile away. Had to take a taxi back and forth to my car. Wish I had known that parking was a problem before. The rooms were clean and comfy.

Charming 19th century /victorian house in effectively a charming 19th century town. Creaky everything in the house. Brilliant position close to Asbury Park and Ocean Grove amenities. Lovely to sit on one of the verandas and watch the world go by.

What you have to realise (and I didn't) is that this is really a bed and bath. There are no room services-great if you are staying for the weekend, but not if you are staying longer.. Room is tiny and has no lounge, with just one chair to sit in. There is a communal lounge across the hall. There's no space in the room for a coffee machine, just one for the whole building.

Location. Cleanliness.

Small shower and toilet space. For $270 a night I expected more elbow room in the shower and the toilet area. Bed was not level. The head area was sloping downward so we had to put our heads where the feet go so we don’t lose consciousness.

Location was perfect! Nice balcony and cute sitting are on second floor.

Beds were uncomfortable and Just needed to have the microwave more secure downstairs and even though it was complementary for coffee and tea, they didn’t have it stocked
