"Excellent value, comfy room, decent food."

Being a vegan, I wasn’t sure if we would be able to find any suitable options on the menu, however we were pleasantly surprised , there were a couple of options. I really enjoyed my ratatouille, served with chips and peas. Excellent value and very tasty, cooked to perfection. The room was huge and warm. The bed was comfortable and the staff were all lovely. What a great pub. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our stay.

"It was fine for a place to stay for the night"

The service was good.

The building needs some TLC. It's very dated. Also, breakfast included would have been much better. The restaurant was good but again dated and the food was basic.
