Mountain Quest Inn

The room was clean. The area was beautiful.

The Inn was not handicap assessable. I asked about it when I received the confirmation. I received a reply that we would have some one help us check in. No one at the office. We had to go up a flight of steps with our luggage. The bed was a high post bed. It was beautiful. But not for handicapped people. We had to us a foot stool to get into bed and the stool moved because it was on hard wood floors. There was a rug under the bed but it stopped at the edge of the bed. The toilet was way too low. There was a hand rail on the door frame but it was too far away. I had to use the counter to pull myself to reach the handrail. The hot breakfast was scrambled eggs and your choice of bacon and ham. I asked for my bacon cooked medium, not crispy. The bacon was crispy & my husband's ham was very thin and small for the price that we paid for the room.

It was very quaint, quiet, pleasant atmosphere & loved the theme of our rooms. Also enjoyed the ponies, donkeys, cats, and horses.

We enjoyed everything accept the portion size for breakfast was a little small.

The location was beautiful and the inn charming. The decor in the rooms and inn was extraordinary especially the library in the main house. If you’re looking for an out of the way spot with very little connection to the outer world then this is the place.

Located in a quiet, off the road country setting. Wonderful library. Farm style surroundings with friendly pets. Sara is a sweetheart, the type of person I'd be blessed to have as a daughter.

everything was beyond perfect.

The breakfast was great, hot, and made to order.

Old world….spotlessly clean, welcoming. Breakfast was very good and the staff very accommodating
