Quaint, clean, warm, welcoming and beautiful are just a few of the words I would use to describe the Village Inn. My husband and I had a rare getaway weekend and I can't think of a better place to have spent it. Our room was spacious and spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. There is a cozy sitting and reading area off a common kitchen which we were invited to use, and our mornings started off on a good note with delicious coffee that was provided by the Inn. The outdoor space is nothing short of beautiful with plenty of outdoor seating, and includes an area that is covered in case of inclement weather. The grounds are spectacular, and a short walk along the property brings one to a river that has a fire pit and more seating. The Village Inn has a Sloshie Shed, home to the DELICIOUS Sloshie beverages (my first Sloshie, certainly not my last). Mariah and Cam were amazing hosts and made sure that we (and the other guests) were well taken care of. We can't wait to visit again soon!

We enjoyed our summer visit to East Burke for mountain biking on the Kingdom Trail system. This condo is a downstairs unit with walkout patio. The view is blocked by another condo, but the upstairs unit probably has a nice view. Also, the hotel is next door and they have views. The unit is small but modern. My only caution is that it doesn’t seem suitable for a stay beyond a few days. There is no washer dryer or dishwasher and the fridge is a college dorm style. There are locked cages in a barn to store your stuff.
