Comfy bed Excellent breakfast Friendly and helpful staff

Superficially clean but underlying grimy feel in many places. Stair bannister and floors. Restaurant table sticky. Place needs a deep clean. Bathroom lighting poor. Our room was a good size but not in a good position, it was very hot but we couldn’t open the window as the kitchen extractor was outside with associated noise and smells. There was a lack of privacy- staff took breaks underneath our bedroom window.

Unfortunately the property was not 4 star the bathroom was Grimey worn carpet marks all on the walls Needs a total refurb in the room we stayed

Lovely hotel in beautiful location with cheerful helpful staff.

The staff are all so friendly and helpful. They organised trip to a local stud for us after we expressed an interest in race horses. They all came together to sort it all out for us. The food was fabulous. Breakfast and evening meal.

The bathroom in our room could do with upgrading. Broken floor tiles, and generally a bit shabby.

Lovely location. Clean. Friendly.
