"Ok for a budget stay"

Great location

With very little cost the rooms could be far superior, little things like taps not working , doors not locking , only a bath no shower

"A gem of a place."

The food was fantastic. Great value for money. Stuff we're friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Great location, even if it was in the middle of nowhere, it was still easy to get to.

Some of the paint on the bed frame was being to chip off. There was no way for me to wash my hair. I understand that you can't puta standing shower into some of the room as the low ceiling. However, it might be wroth putting a shower head attainment or something like that, so it makes ut a lot easier to wash hair.

"Superb"

Great British pub. Busy. Nice to see. Rustic bar area. Great evening meal. Breakfasts hearty. One lite bite choice would have been nice. Fresh fruit salad or similar.

No views from the attic room. Would stay again but ask for a different room.

"Lovely comfortable Lakeland Pub"

This is an excellent place to stay for the South Lakes area. The White Hart is full of character. Very homely and cosy. My room overlooked lovely countryside with fields of cows. Breakfast was well served and a good choice. I would return anytime you The White Hart.
