"Perfect pub stay"

Came for two night stay whilst we explored the lakes. Room was clean and comfortable .Breakfast very good and included in our stay . We had our evening meals here both nights they were very good . A busy welcoming pub the heart of the village a lovely location quiet and picturesque.

For the price we paid everything was good .

Breakfast great. Hosts lovely. Enjoyed sitting in the gardens in the evening sun. Lovely setting. The room quirky but bed really comfy. Exceptional value for money. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come again. Room clean and bedding lovely. Very good value for money.

My husband is quite tall and due to the sloping ceiling found access to the toilet tricky. The back carpet could do with a refresh.no doubt due to guests out walking in the lovely surroundings.

The ensuite was across the main corridor, would have been good to know before to take a dressing gown.
