White Lion Hotel

It was fine for what I needed and I’ve stayed at the white lion before breakfast was excellent

There were a couple of problems I was in a downstairs room and the people above me were quite noisy and you could hear them walking around. The other problem was the electric sockets in the room tripped out through the night so I couldn’t make a drink or watch tv in the morning I reported it they fixed it but it only lasted about 10 minutes and then tripped out again just one of those things but was a bit inconvenient

Proximity to the golf course

Well worn. Not clean. Cold. Needs a substantial refurbishment.

Food in the restaurant was lovely, clean room and comfy beds and very helpful staff getting us a taxi so my daughter could get to dance comp on time

We needed to check out at 7am but the door from the rooms to the reception area was locked. We couldn't find another way out and had a train to catch (we did catch it)

Beautiful character pub with great food and wonderful staff.

Small bathroom in room 2, but everything was there that you needed and clean.

Good location and very old . Had all the facilities we needed and the breakfast was good too.

Needs a bit of TLC, new paint job and they need a gardener. But was very clean.

Great food.

Dust, cobwebs, creaking, shower so hot it was on the verge of being unusable. Generally very tired and in need of a deep clean and revamp. Food was great but service was extremely slow.
