Bed was comfortable..

The room was cold when we arrived on a freezing day. Should have heated it before hand. Initially macerator didn't work but was fixed so ok in the end. It was a bit tatty around the edges. It would be helpful if drinking water was provided for filling the kettle. Would have been nice to have included breakfast in the price as that was extra

Was met by the Landlady''s husband, who showed us to our room, explained the little quirky things we may need to know. Barstaff were friendly and helpful. Landlady made us a lovely breakfast before we left.

We were out of season so it was very quiet in the pub, but we've been in the summer and it's been busier with more of an atmosphere

Quiet, rustic place to stay whilst visiting Port Lympne Safari Park. Very comfortable and friendly staff.evening meal was lovely too.

There was a macerator in the bathroom that was quite noisy - but didn’t detract from our short stay.

Very welcoming, friendly, environment . Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great. Clean and tidy.

room needs deep clean... cobwebs in corners in the bathroom and edges floor and edges of carpet. macerator in bathroom very noisy, but unavoidable, wasn't aware before hand. location not in easy walking distance to town for us. evening meal in pub not great.

The lovlies copule owns and manages this place, they are just great. From the minute I got through the door I felt welcomed, i got to see the room and choose one. The lady also cooked my food earlier than the restaurant wasbopening which was levely. We had some lovely chats about the vast choice of Caribbean rums. Excellent food.

The rooms need updating and also the bathrooms too. But they were SUPER CLEAN.
