I have stayed a number of times Offering a large selection of real ales. And welcoming barmaids Charley and Sarah. Adjacent to Wylam Railway Station..

Nothing to complain about.

Clean. Convenient location. Friendly staff.

Music playing in the bar until 00.30 directly below the room. Impossible to sleep.

Mooie kamer boven de pub, met een prima gezamenlijke badkamer en een ruime keuken waar in de ochtend het continentaal ontbijt klaarstaat. Absolute plus zijn de wasmachine en de droger die er staan, die je mag gebruiken. Voor ons, na 10 dagen wandelen was het heel fijn dat we hier gebruik van konden maken.

Yes very much . Although we had a shared bathroom, it was mainly my other two friends and myself plus one of the couple who I hardly saw. The bathroom itself was lovely with a massive bath and then opposite there those are very well equipped do it yourself, kitchen. Microwave fridge freezer Iron ironing board and basic things for a breakfast with a nice big new bottle of milk in the fridge. All spotless. The bedrooms were nice too, although mine was quite small, but I didn’t mind that. Generally, it was nicer than I was expecting.

For me and the others, the only thing that wasn’t 100% good was the fact that it’s on ac busy road and you can’t even unload and load outside as it’s too busy and dangerous. However, we found parking relatively close.
