Shared bathroom I didn’t realise this at the time of booking or I would’ve have booked it

Very friendly staff.

Doors creak a bit noisily.

Central to the village. Wood oven great to eat at night

Right next to railway with crossing that was very noisy. Didn’t serve food and poor food available for breakfast

This is the friendliest pub I have ever been in...and I've been in a few. Everyone, from staff to locals, was talking to my wife and I, asking where we were from, telling us about the area, and offering up places to visit. I highly recommend you visit. In terms of the stay, I was surprised by both the size of the room and quality of the bed, TV, etc. The kitchen was fully kitted out with washing machine, tumble dryer, etc. and the bathroom has a massive bath!

Only complaint was the door latch was installed back to front, so the door won't stay shut without being locked

Ideally situated for pubs,shops, restaurants and of course the train.

Nothing...was apprehensive about sharing a bathroom but once we got to know the other guests it wasn't a problem.

The room was very comfy and clean. The staff were super friendly and the shared bathroom and kitchen area were spotless. Only 4 rooms so I didn't have to wait to use the shared bathroom.
