It's a fantastic pub, we loved it The room was clean and comfortable

There was no parking We were tired and wanted to get an early night, the noise from the pub below meant that we didn't get to sleep until after 11.30. it was really loud! We were the only people in the building overnight, which felt odd. Breakfast was a self service buffet of kids cereals, supermarket white bread, small amount of jam and Nutella substitute! Tea and Nescafé coffee. Not at all what we were expecting! Expensive for what we received... Great pub though!

Location is great for what I needed. Bar staff were friendly.

The ‘deluxe room’ doesn’t have its own toilet or shower. There was literally no furniture in the deluxe room - no wardrobe and not even a hook on the back of the door to hang anything. I had a suit, shirts and other clothes on hangers for a 4 day break, but literally nowhere to hang them. They all had to be laid on the floor or over the back of a chair!

Fantastic location for friends joining you for a walk. Right next to the train station.

when we arrived informed room we had booked wasnt available so moved to a room with a shared bathroom. Were given money back however frustrating we werent informed in advance. Shared bathroom unclean, had tea and coffee facilities in room but no milk.

It was near to where I needed to be. The bed was comfortable.

There were not any instructions in the room at all. The plug socket was hanging out of the wall. The window wouldn’t shut due to the wires for the television coming through the gap. Very poor choice of breakfast. Noisy floor boards, poor sound proofing, poor lock on the bedroom door, poor quality rear door. Stains on the carpet.

It turned out to be more of a self-catering place, which was good for us, which gave us options about evening meals and breakfast. Cereals, bread, milk etc were provided. Large comfy bed was better than most hotels.

Access to the rooms past the pub bins round the side and up the back of the pub could have been more pleasant.

Staff was friendly and quick to help. Room was clean and comfortable, Great bed.

Expensive for a bath shared with many people. Right above the bar, Breakfast was at the bare minimum.
