Friendly staff, clean, good facilities, V good pub

The room and communal areas were very clean. The bed was comfy. I was able to eat my takeaway in the upstairs kitchen area undisturbed. Although I didn’t partake in having a drink in the bar downstairs there was a very good selection of beers/ales and outside sitting for when the weather is good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very handy location for an overnight stop if you are walking the Hadrians Wall trail.

The room was very nice

No food available parking is available over the road at the train station which is only a pound a day but the app was a bit tricky.

Clean and well equipped

Warm welcoming staff and lovely clean room. I was was walking the Hadrians Wall Path and it wa spect For me to be able cook my own food and breakfast. There was a really well good kitchen with everything I needed and even some complimentary breakfast bits in way of bread, James and butter, pastries and eggs. Theres places in town if you would like dinner out or get bits from the co_op. I opted for a shared bathroom but it was quiet mid week so I don’t think I edged up sharing however, it was lovely and clean

Noise of the bar when trying to sleep. Description of room on booking not accurate paid more for a room with en-suite but turned out that was a shared bathroom room as well so ended up having to pay more again.
