NZBeing in a quieter little country village
Humping suitcases up steep stairs!
FRUn pub avec un charme anglais comme on peut se l'imaginer dans un petit village agréable. Parfait pour commencer un road trip dans l'Angleterre surtout lorsque l'on a l'agréable surprise d'assister à un concert intimiste de rock classique avant d'aller dormir.
GBGBGBProperty itself was really nice looking and being able to pop down for a beer was ideal. Host was really nice and helpful (for the most)
First, it was rather dirty (carpets were filthy) Second, when it was later in the evening (I travelled for work so had to be up early) the noise from the bar resonating through into my room was shocking so didn’t get to sleep till 1am and then was disturbed by something at 5am!

GBIt was staying with a family really, lovely pub, great beer, great company, room large, clean and comfortable.
GBEveryone in the pub was friendly from staff to other customers. Nice cozy room. Comfy bed and a very quiet night. Perfect with a big bike ride scheduled for the morning.
Parking was a bit of a faff not knowing the area and no vacant spaces directly in front. Found good parking on a one way street near the bridge eventually but better prior info on where to park would be great
