Friendly staff, easy access and great breakfast. Plenty of nearby parking (at back of property).

Only downside was having to pay for the car park (public)before 8 o’clock in the morning!!

It was close to where i needed to be for the works christmas party,all of the staff were freindy and very helpfull,as were the patrons that use the pub. Room was spacious cozy and warm a very clean,bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was lovely,you werent rushed and set you up for the day,on sunday the weather was terrable,so had a sober up day and did’nt need to go out at all,just had breakfast,went and had another sleep and just watched snooker most on the day and ate off the menu,all of the food i had in the pub was excellent to the point that i will be going back as it’s not to far out of the way for so i can try i few more of the dishes i could’nt fit in!! Great pub,great room,awsome people,i would definately recomend and will probably be staying again.

Das Hotel ist gut zu erreichen. Ein öffentlicher, preisgünstiger Parkplatz ist unmittelbar hinter dem Hotel. Das englische Frühstück war in Ordnung. Das Zimmer war sauber und ruhig. Im Haus ist ein klassischer englischer Pub.

Lovely traditional pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Staff were all friendly, food very good and the room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed provided.

If I had to find a negative I’d probably say the rooms are not very accessible for less able people, but then what do you expect for an old traditional building!

You weren’t allowed to use the onsite parking even though there were spaces
