"Generally a nice place to stay"

Libby our host was excellent, so knowledgeable and welcoming. Everything was very clean and the rooms had the facilities expected. The Victoria is in a great position for exploring Durham, just across the river from the Cathedral and restaurants.

The one area that needs needs improving is the beds, all 4 of us felt the beds were too hard and we had back ache in the mornings.

Fantastic host, made to feel very welcome. Great cosy local pub, lovely beer and the room was warm and comfortable.
