Ideal location for visiting different areas of North Yorkshire, amazing staff and hosts Steve and Sharon go above and beyond for their guests. We stayed in a twin room, the room was really comfortable and had plenty of space. Breakfast was lovely, but the evening meal was outstanding, lovely, fresh produce cooked to perfection! We had Lasagne and Herby Pork loin. We would definitely stay here again x

It’s very close to the road so very loud. Mattresses were also incredibly soft.

Lovely pub, very welcoming owner and staff. Had an evening meal, food was amazing, delicious and moreish. Breakfast was very tasty too, even if fried eggs were murdered, I prefer 'snotty' eggs, but we weren't asked how we liked them, just what type of eggs.

The rooms we had weren't clean, needed a thorough deep clean. Bathroom was a let down, definitely needs updating, mould on shower head, hose and tiles. Owner did change the hose and head, but really didn't fit properly. Their information file was very informative and did ask for feedback on forums, but preferred in person, which I did. We also had a few glitches with communication through booking site, as I asked about our pups staying, but received no reply. Still got charged though despite cleanliness of room.
